Freshly Rolled Tibetan Blue Barley Porridge Mix

We’ve combined the beautiful chewy, nuttiness of our Tibetan blue barley flakes with naked rolled oats for creaminess and a little rye and spelt flakes to round it out, along with a sprinkle of super healthy linseed. In winter we’re eating it steaming hot with yoghurt, linseed meal, raw honey and stewed fruit, and for the warmer weather we recommend preparing it as a delicious overnight muesli.

Simply cook as you would oats, using around 1/3 cup flakes with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 milk per person. Stir regularly and cook until thick and creamy, adding more liquid if required.

We roll every week in small batches to ensure these flakes are fresh and nutritious.

Thursday is milling day at the farm, so we need your order before 9:00am on Thursday morning in order to include it in the weekly milling and packing. Orders placed after 9:00am on Thursdays will be shipped or available for pick up the following weekend, unless we notify you otherwise.
